01: How You Get Paid

Rise gives you full control over how you withdraw your earnings. You choose your method every pay cycle: fiat to your bank, stablecoins to a wallet, or crypto. You can change your preference anytime.

Fiat / Bank Transfer

Receive in your local currency, direct to your bank account. 90+ currencies supported. Best for day-to-day expenses.

Stablecoins (USDC & USDT)

Digital dollars that don't fluctuate. Settled in minutes, on-chain. Best for saving in USD, DeFi, or speed.

Other Crypto

100+ crypto assets supported. Send to MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Gnosis Safe, or any EVM-compatible wallet. Best for portfolio management and Web3.

02: Fiat Withdrawals

What's supported

Rise supports withdrawals in 90+ local currencies via bank transfer. Common currencies include USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, INR, BRL, MXN, NGN, PHP, ZAR, and many more. See the full country reference in the Appendix at the end of this guide.

How it works

  • Add your bank account in your Rise profile (account number + routing/IBAN/SWIFT as applicable)

  • Confirm your withdrawal amount and currency

  • Funds arrive based on the settlement time for your country (real-time to T+2 depending on corridor)

  • Rise handles the FX conversion automatically, no external exchange needed

FX Rates

Rise uses live mid-market rates at the time of conversion. You'll see the exact rate applied before confirming your withdrawal.

  • Rate source: Live mid-market rate, updated in real time

  • Rate lock: Locked at confirmation — no rate drift after you confirm

  • Visibility: Rate shown to you before you confirm — transparent, no hidden spread

  • FX margin: Varies by corridor (see Appendix) — typically 1.13%–1.90%

Tip: If you're in a region with a volatile local currency, consider holding in USDC on Rise and converting to fiat only when you're ready to spend. Rise Earn lets you earn yield on idle USDC balances.

03: Stablecoin Withdrawals

Stablecoins are the fastest, most cost-effective way to get paid through Rise. USDC and USDT both maintain 1:1 parity with the US dollar — no volatility.

Supported networks

  • Arbitrum — USDC, USDT — settles in under 1 minute

  • Ethereum — USDC, USDT — settles in minutes (gas-dependent)

  • Polygon — USDC, USDT — settles in under 1 minute

  • Optimism — USDC, USDT — settles in under 1 minute

  • Avalanche — USDC, USDT — settles in under 1 minute

How to set up

  • Go to your Rise profile → Payment Methods

  • Add a crypto wallet address (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Gnosis Safe, MEW, or any EVM-compatible wallet)

  • Select your preferred network

  • Choose USDC or USDT as your withdrawal currency

  • Withdrawals are processed on-chain — verify any transaction on a block explorer

Always double-check your wallet address before saving. On-chain transactions cannot be reversed. Rise is not responsible for funds sent to incorrect addresses.

04: Other Crypto Withdrawals

Beyond stablecoins, Rise supports withdrawals in over 100 cryptocurrencies. Select your preferred asset in your profile, and funds will be converted and sent at the time of your withdrawal.

Note: crypto assets other than stablecoins carry market price risk. The value you receive may differ from the USD amount shown at conversion time.

Supported wallets

  • MetaMask

  • Coinbase Wallet

  • Gnosis Safe

  • MyEtherWallet (MEW)

  • Any EVM-compatible wallet

05: Fee Summary

  • Platform fee: $49/mo per contractor — paid by the employer

  • Rise flat fee: $10 per local currency withdrawal — paid by the contractor

  • FX margin: 1.13%–1.90% depending on corridor (see Appendix) — paid by the contractor

  • USD pass-through fee: $20 flat fee for USD bank withdrawals — paid by the contractor

  • Receiving bank fees: Varies by your bank — charged by your bank on inbound transfers

  • Stablecoin withdrawals on L2 (Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism): Near-zero network gas — paid by the contractor

  • Ethereum mainnet gas: Variable, market-dependent — paid by the contractor

  • Rise Earn: No additional fee

To minimize fees: use L2 networks (Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism) for stablecoin withdrawals instead of Ethereum mainnet. Gas costs on L2s are a fraction of mainnet fees.

06:  Rise Earn

Rise Earn is a built-in feature that lets you earn yield on USDC sitting in your Rise account, powered by Aave. There's no lock-up period — funds remain accessible and withdrawable at any time.

  • Powered by: Aave protocol (DeFi)

  • Asset: USDC

  • Lock-up: None — withdraw anytime

  • Fee: No additional fee from Rise

  • How to enable: Toggle on in your Rise dashboard

07: Quick FAQ

Can I change my withdrawal method mid-cycle?

Yes. You choose your method each cycle and can change it any time before your withdrawal is processed. Your employer doesn't control how you cash out.

How long do withdrawals take?
