Rise Achieves SOC 2 Type II Certification

What Is SOC 2 and Why It Matters
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is an internationally recognized standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates how companies manage customer data based on five Trust Services Criteria:

Processing Integrity
Confidentiality
Privacy
While SOC 2 Type I assesses the design of these controls at a specific point in time, SOC 2 Type II goes further, it measures how effectively those controls operate over an extended period.

What This Certification Covers
Our SOC 2 Type II certification encompasses the Security, Availability, and Confidentiality Trust Services Criteria across Rise’s core platform, supporting infrastructure, and internal operations.
The audit was conducted by an independent third-party auditor in accordance with AICPA standards. The results confirm that Rise’s policies, procedures, and technologies meet stringent industry benchmarks for safeguarding sensitive payroll and HR data.
