CFOs and founders at Web3, AI, and remote-first companies with a USDC or USDT treasury need payroll that is compliant for employees and contractors, not a spreadsheet of wallet transfers. Rise runs native hybrid payroll: fund in USD, USDC, or USDT, then let workers withdraw in local fiat or crypto.

Why USDC payroll is a finance decision, not a wallet tip

A USDC treasury does not fix worker classification, host social charges, or wage-payment rules. It is a funding and payout rail.

Rise puts status first (employee via Employer of Record at $399, or contractor via Global Contractor Pay at $49 or Agent of Record at $299), then funds payroll in USD, USDC, or USDT, then lets the worker withdraw.

That order matters for bank partners, diligence, and ops. A folder of personal wallet hashes is not a payroll file.

Rise vs Deel vs Remote on stablecoin payroll

Rise: native hybrid for the whole workforce

Rise built hybrid payroll into the platform. Fund in USD, USDC, or USDT. Employees and contractors can withdraw in local currency or crypto. No published per-employee stablecoin add-on on Rise pricing. See Stablecoin Payroll and Hybrid Fiat/Crypto Payroll.

EOR for full-time seats is $399 per employee per month through Rise-owned entities in the US, UK, and Canada, expanding to 60+ by end of 2026.

Deel: employee stablecoin as a $10 add-on

Deel supports contractor stablecoin payouts and, in 2026, employee salary payouts in the US and Eurozone at $10 per participating employee per month. Deel’s public materials say conversion and on-chain settlement are handled by licensed third-party providers. Published EOR is $599 per employee per month.

Rise’s published EOR sticker is $200 per employee per month lower, and stablecoin pay is not billed as a separate $10 opt-in on Rise pricing.

Remote: contractor USDC via Stripe, not employee salary

Remote pays contractors in USDC through Stripe Connect in supported countries. The employer is billed in USD. Remote has not published an employee stablecoin salary product the way it publishes contractor USDC. Published EOR is $699 per employee per month.
