DPA stands for Differential Power Analysis. It is a type of side-channel attack that is used to extract secret information from cryptographic devices, such as smart cards and encryption chips, by analyzing the power consumption or electromagnetic emissions of the device as it performs a cryptographic operation. This information can then be used to determine the secret key used in the encryption.
