In my career I have found my strengths to be in communication, design, and curiosity. I honed my communication skills while working as a project designer, navigating between teams of engineers, designers, stakeholders and end users I was able to complete beautiful finished products that delighted all. I have always had a passion for design whether it be physical architecture, information architecture or user interface, driving me to produce the best most intuitive designs. And finally curiosity is a trait I was born with and have managed to hold on to into my career. Always asking why is my greatest skill. When users are experiencing collective displacement understanding context and listening empathetically can yield grounding results.
In my most recent role, I have been lead experience and interaction designer for a technical development software tool, Speedscale. I have proven the power of user research in order to achieve the ideal work flow and interaction. In past roles as FarLandMD’s UX/UI designer, I was able to talk to our users personally in interviews to understand their pain points and relay that information to our stakeholders with engaging visual and design. Understanding our users interaction with foreign healthcare has helped us educate while simplifying the process. Collaborating and adapting with our UX team we have succeed in creating a new product from research and into wireframing and prototyping moving forward to release our beta product.
