Rise is being built with the goal of providing an advanced environment for contractors and helping them flourish in their independent careers.
We started with our Creative Marketplace, in which independent creatives who have passed our onboarding are able to create their digital profile with services and portfolios in just a few clicks and then collaborate with businesses looking for them.
We’ve built tools to enhance collaborations including fast & secure payments through encrypted technology (learn more about our Smart Contracts here), milestone based or on-going contracts, project timelines, a file sharing system and integrated communication channels. We now have a growing community of about 3,000 freelancers and dozens of client businesses.
While these tools are extremely relevant once a contractor/client relationship has been established and projects have started, a question we’ve always asked ourselves is: How do we help freelancers increase their chances of nailing the pre-project phase with potential clients?
We have our talent marketplace in which clients can find freelancers, but what if freelancers meet clients outside our network and still want to benefit from the tools we’ve built to streamline their operations? How can they put together all their relevant project information in one concise and eye appealing format for their potential clients to review and get started with our tools?
Well, after popular demand from our community, we’re excited to introduce Dynamic Proposals!
Starting today, contractors can create and send dynamic proposals to clients outside of our marketplace. Doing so will make them benefit from the payment and management tools we’ve built! All vetted freelancers are eligible. We will soon open the gates to non-vetted freelancers.
Why Dynamic? Three reasons.
We’ve built out a system to automate the proposal generation process. At every single step of the proposal creation, contractors can see how their proposal looks. This doesn’t stop here. Once a proposal is sent to clients, freelancers can continue making edits and update the proposal without having to resend the proposal. The PDF always updates itself.
On top of building an eye appealing proposal and sending it to a client via email and PDF, we’re providing relevant analytics to help contractors get a better grasp of where things stand. How many times proposals are viewed and converted, and by whom.
Once the proposal is converted, our payment, communication and project management tools are activated. Contractors and their clients have access to a project page including a funding portal, a milestone timeline, a file sharing tool and multiple communication channels (chat, video and email for now). Project funds are securely held on escrow and paid out after specific milestones are met.
With Dynamic Proposals enabled, we’re able to start catering pre-project needs our contractors have. We’re excited to launch this tool and looking forward to reinforcing our overall contractor/client loop!
